Popis práce We are looking for a colleague to a Legal Department who will provide general legal support, with focus on contract review, to Howden and Chart Industries companies located in several European countries with regard to various matters requiring legal and administrative support. What will you do? • Review and revise customer terms and conditions, contracts and other legal documents • Draft contracts, amendments and other legal documents • Help manage and maintain up to date terms and conditions, contract templates • Support and work on general legal advices to ensure compliance with applicable law, • Provide administrative support with various matters, including doing legal research, as required • Conduct internal training • Provide assistance in relation to litigation, disputes and warranty claims • Assist with updating and managing company policies and procedures
Požadavky Who are you and what you have? • Professional with legal degree from respectable university (bachelor at minimum) • Good orientation in commercial law and grasp of particularities of different European legal systems • Analytical ability combined with attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask as necessary • Fluent in English and Czech language at minimum, with French or German language being significant bonus • Proficient in work with Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe/Nitro and Outlook • Good communication skills and ability to resolve problems in international environment • Result oriented • Team player • Keen to learn and able to follow rules • Able to diversify and support various legal matters, with main focus on contract review • Able to travel abroad on occasion • Able to travel to office in Nehvizdy, Czech republic, when needed, by default at least once per week • Able to work remotely (at home) without impact on productivity What can we offer? • Thorough legal training and a praxis on an international company level • Working in large international company, which is owned by US publicly listed parent • Direct supervisor in the Czech Republic • Detailed work with contracts and other legal documentation • Exposure to wide range of in-house legal work • Responsibility and independence • Flexible working hours (everything is negotiable) • Home office on average 4 times a week • A great team of people and experts, both on local and European level • Communication in Czech and English • Benefits such as reduced working hours of 37.5 hours, 5 weeks of vacation, pension/life insurance allowance in the amount of CZK 1,300, allowance for meals in the average amount of CZK 1,700 per month, allowance for language courses, allowance for children's recreation up to up to CZK 3,000 per child, free tea / coffee / water at the workplace, transport allowance of CZK 1,000, Multisport card, discounted employee tariff from Vodafone etc. • Pleasant working environment in building in the park P3 Prague D11 Nehvizdy or in Děčín • Company pick-ups from the Černý Most metro station / Mstětice train station • Start date from 1.5.2024 or upon agreement earlier • ... and primarily work that makes sense.
